Entirely on his own, Son decided to copy down some place names from the wall map that hangs in our dining room. Some of the places he chose are kind of interesting. For example, Madagascar is the home of lemurs, his favorite animal, and Koalas (Daughter’s favorite animal) come from Australia.

No time like snow time

For the first time this season, we got enough snow to make a snowman. Even though that snowman is about 12 inches tall. And looks like a little pyramid.

Son brought home this frog on a lilly pad today. He tells me the purple scribble over the frog is from a crayon color check, it’s not really part of the composition.

Son came up with this song from who-knows-where. The lyrics are cryptic, the melody is infectious. I like it! Marching, marching to the aisle April kisses Nightime (?) … Marching marching to the aisle!
