Daughter wrote a report about Koala bears and built a little diorama of the Koala habitat. Her 2nd grade class held an academic fair, in which all the kids showed off their research on mammals.

I’ve gone lighthouse crazy lately. I’ve photographed, at present count, 34 separate lighthouses in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, and even two in Nova Scotia. I’ve seen moles in my yard before … but this is the first time I’ve seen one wandering around inside my house: Edit: I captured the mole alive and set it free at the local nature sanctuary.

At a local Spring Fair, Son climbed an artificial rock wall. He got about seven feet off the ground. Son and daughter jumped in the bouncy room.
