This image is being used for print ads and online graphics for the Meeker St. Emporium, a thrift shop which benefits the homeless. It’s a great example of how iStockphoto brings stock photography within the budget of clients who are unable to afford conventional stock (at, say, $300 a pop). Plus, I’m personally a big proponent of thrift stores, so it’s kind of neat to be helping them out.
I thought it was clever of me to use the kids’ shorts for this shot. Because the shorts are so small, the clothespins and clothesline are more prominent than they would be if I had used adult shorts.
