The local historic carousel had a childrens’ holiday event. Daughter, with snowman facepaint, got to network with Santa, and Son got to ride his favorite animal, the ‘aff.

Today was unseasonably warm, so we enjoyed our latest outdoor pasttime, lawn bowling. All you need: some 2-liter soda bottles (6 work best, but any number will do) weighted down with pebbles or water. Plus a ball with some heft (an undersized basketball does the trick for us).
