Just another late-fall evening
November 23rd, 2004 · Comments Off
The early darkness sends us into “indoor mode” these days. Here Daughter plays her Reader Rabbit computer game while Son tests the structural integrity of Ken’s head. (That’s “Ken” as in “Barbie’s Ken”)

Baby and Beluga
November 20th, 2004 · Comments Off
While mom was taking Daughter to not one, but two birthday parties (and dance class), Son and I went to the aquarium to take in his favorite aquatic animals, the beluga whales (“googwa”). When he saw them he shouted, “mine, mine!”

Somehow I managed to catch the absolutely worst cold I’ve had in years and years (thank you, Son!). I got it on the 4th and it’s still knocking me for a loop. And I’m one of the lucky few who actually got the darn flu shot this year … !
